Keep the original export
Include dates, share identifiers, quantities, transaction IDs, original cash currency and dealing costs. Preserve account identifiers where the export supplies them. When you have two accounts at one broker, the broker name alone does not distinguish those accounts.
Upload earlier history as well as the selected year's sales. Keep corporate-action notices and transfer acquisition records with it. FiscalFox retains original source records so the calculation can be checked back to the export.
Choose your broker in FiscalFox
Trading 212, Revolut, eToro and IG have dedicated readers that run in your browser. DEGIRO, Interactive Brokers and Saxo use assisted column recognition: FiscalFox maps the source columns, then extracts records and calculates with deterministic code. Revolut, eToro and IG list some investments by ticker rather than ISIN; FiscalFox matches those to your other files or asks you to confirm each one.
The importer accepts CSV or a workbook containing one transaction sheet, and eToro's full account statement. PDF statements and sectioned exports are not supported. A listed broker is not a claim that every report it offers is supported.
Review the result and keep a backup
After upload, open the selected-year result. Confirm complete history only when all relevant accounts and activity are included. Resolve an affected source record using its original evidence rather than inventing an acquisition cost.
Download your history backup independently of the calculation. It preserves the Irish workspace for recovery; a supporting report records the available figures and their workings. Both are currently free.
