FiscalFox supports Webull as a built-in broker import. Upload a Webull stock or options order-history file and FiscalFox identifies each security, converts supported GBP values, preserves separate option contracts, and applies the UK same-day, 30-day and Section 104 matching sequence.
How to export Webull transaction history
Webull documents an Export Orders route in both its app and desktop platform. The exported CSV is normally delivered by email after the request is submitted. See Webull's current transaction-history instructions if the menu wording in your account has changed.
- In the Webull app, choose Account, select the account, then open History.
- Choose Export Orders using the download icon.
- On desktop, open Account, use the Orders widget menu, then choose Export Orders.
- Request the widest available period so earlier acquisitions are not omitted.
- Upload the original CSV, XLS, or XLSX using the Webull option in FiscalFox.
Include the history behind every disposal
A tax-year-only file can show an option close or share sale without the earlier opening transaction. That produces a missing-acquisition review item because the cost cannot be reconstructed from the shortened export.
Webull columns FiscalFox recognises
FiscalFox recognises both the original Webull direction codes and normalised buy/sell versions:
| Webull field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Ticker or Symbol & Name | Stock ticker or complete listed-option contract code |
| Date or Trade Date | The acquisition or disposal date |
| Buy/Sell or BTO/STC | Trade direction and long-option lifecycle |
| Quantity and Multiplier | Share quantity or number of option contracts |
| Net Amount | Broker consideration after the fee effect |
| Amount GBP or Spot FX rate | Sterling value used for the UK calculation |
How Webull options are kept separate
A ticker such as BITF 280121C00012000 contains more than the underlying symbol. It identifies the expiry, call or put right, and strike. FiscalFox uses all of those fields as the security identity, so different BITF contracts traded on the same day are not merged or deleted as duplicates.
Supported long-option BTO rows become acquisitions and STC rows become disposals. Written-option STO and BTC activity can require different lifecycle treatment, so it remains a manual-review item rather than being silently forced into share pooling.
GBP conversion and review warnings
UK capital gains calculations must use sterling values. FiscalFox first uses an explicit Amount GBP. If that is absent, it can use a usable Spot FX rate. A source-currency-only Webull row is retained so the trading history stays complete, but it is marked for GBP conversion review before the figures are used for filing.
Common Webull import issues
Duplicated PDF-page sheets
Some converted Webull workbooks contain a clean WebullOptions or Webull Stocks sheet plus auxiliary sheets named like Table003 (Page 2). FiscalFox uses the canonical Webull sheet and ignores those repeated page tables.
Missing option opening trades
If an STC row has no matching BTO quantity, FiscalFox reports missing option history. It does not interpret a contract-count imbalance as an ordinary stock split.
Account wrappers
Only include activity that belongs in the UK taxable calculation. Keep ISA, pension and other tax-sheltered activity separate from a taxable brokerage account.
Webull CGT questions
Does FiscalFox support Webull files?
Yes. FiscalFox has a built-in Webull parser for stock order history and supported long-option trades in CSV, XLS, or XLSX files. The import runs locally in the browser.
Which Webull file should I upload for UK capital gains tax?
Upload the Webull order or transaction history covering the complete period needed to explain every disposal. The file should contain Ticker, Date, Buy/Sell or BTO/STC, Quantity, Net Amount, and Currency columns.
Does FiscalFox support Webull options?
FiscalFox imports supported long-option BTO and STC rows using the full contract identity: underlying, expiry, call or put, and strike. Written-option STO and BTC lifecycle rows remain manual-review items.
How are USD Webull trades converted to GBP?
FiscalFox uses Amount GBP when present, otherwise it uses a usable Spot FX rate. If the file only contains a USD net amount, the trade is imported but clearly flagged for GBP conversion review before filing.
