FiscalFox has 15 built-in broker importers. Choose the guide for the platform that produced your file, then export row-level transaction history rather than a portfolio valuation, gain summary or tax certificate alone.
A usable capital gains history normally needs acquisition and disposal dates, quantities, security identifiers or descriptions, prices, fees and sterling values or supporting exchange-rate data. The required period can begin before the tax year because older purchases may remain in the Section 104 holding. Broker-specific pages explain accepted file types, excluded account wrappers and the warnings that should be resolved before relying on a calculation.
If the same investment appears at more than one broker, import the relevant accounts into one calculation. HMRC share identification follows the beneficial owner's transactions rather than treating each platform as a separate tax pool. Read the multi-broker guide and HMRC Helpsheet 284 for the matching context.
Built-in broker files are processed locally in your browser session. Unsupported broker imports use an opt-in AI parser and ask for consent before any file is sent for parsing.
Can't find your broker?
Choose Other Broker in the calculator. AI parsing is opt-in and only runs after you sign in and consent.
