    Fineco

FiscalFox reads Fineco’s Movimenti Dossier Titoli export directly. It imports supported securities trades, identifies investments by ISIN and records bond coupon cash. Italian decimal commas, EUR countervalues and recognised prices per 100 nominal are handled automatically.

Upload your Fineco file to calculate the supported activity. You can combine it with files from other brokers in the same calculation.

How to export your Fineco transactions

    1. Sign in to Fineco and open the portfolio reporting area: Portafoglio → Reportistica → Movimenti Dossier Titoli.
    2. Select the dossier and the dates you need. Include earlier purchases that establish the cost of investments sold in your tax year.
    3. Download the original Excel export. A CSV retaining the same columns is also supported.
    4. Choose Fineco in FiscalFox and upload the file unchanged.

For a completed UK tax year, purchase records through 5 May can resolve acquisitions within 30 days of a 5 April sale. The calculation still covers your selected tax year. Fineco’s official reporting guide explains its portfolio reports.

    What the file supports

    Fineco recordFiscalFox treatment
Compravendita titoliPurchases and sales, ISIN, units, execution date, cash and separately printed commission.
Recognised bondsNominal quantities and clean prices per 100. Capital amounts remain separate from interest; sterling corporate-bond exemption treatment needs review.
Stacco CedoleCoupon cash recorded as interest. Gross interest and foreign-tax credit remain provisional when the dossier omits tax deductions.
Recognised CFD executionsExecutions retained with the published contract multiplier and the original source values. Notional amounts are excluded from share gains.
CFD Dividendo adjustmentsRetained with derivative evidence, outside ordinary dividend income.
Unrecognised activityPreserved for review without inventing a trade or income category.

    Numbers, currencies and dates

The export uses Operazione for the execution date and Data valuta for settlement. Segno A means purchase and V means sale. Values such as 1.234,56 are read as 1,234.56.

Divisa describes the quoted currency; Controvalore is the broker’s EUR countervalue in this dossier format. FiscalFox retains both, checks the trade arithmetic and converts EUR cash and commission to GBP using dated reference rates. When the trade is quoted in GBP, it retains that sterling consideration and converts the EUR commission with Fineco’s stated exchange rate.

CFDs need settlement cash, not just contract value

Fineco’s dossier can label CFD activity as futures transactions. The supported Mini CFD titles are checked against Fineco’s published multipliers and the row’s arithmetic. An execution’s notional countervalue does not establish the taxable cash settlement.

Where settlement data is absent, the affected year asks for the closed-position and account cash statements, including financing, charges and positions opened before the export. FiscalFox does not invent opening positions or treat index adjustments as dividends. See Fineco’s CFD contract specifications and CFD cash adjustments guide.

Only supply records the export is missing

A successful import takes you to your calculation. If a sale needs purchases before the exported period, add those purchases. Bond settlement statements may be needed for accrued interest, and coupon tax statements for deductions absent from the dossier. These requests belong to the affected year; a missing record in another year does not make your current upload fail.

Bond interest is separate from capital gains under HMRC’s accrued income rules. A foreign government bond is not automatically exempt as a UK gilt, and a sterling corporate bond requires its own exemption treatment.

Source values and row coverage are retained with your import for reconciliation. Uploaded files are kept privately for support under our privacy policy.

    Frequently asked questions

    Does FiscalFox support Fineco imports?

Yes. Upload the original Fineco Movimenti Dossier Titoli Excel or CSV export. FiscalFox imports supported securities purchases and sales, records bond coupon cash, and retains CFD executions and index adjustments for settlement reconciliation.

Do I need to change Italian decimal commas or bond prices?

No. FiscalFox reads the original Italian numbers, A/V trade directions and recognised bond prices per 100 nominal. Leave the export unchanged.

Are Fineco CFD dividend adjustments ordinary dividends?

No. A dividend-labelled adjustment on a CFD is retained with the derivative evidence. It is not added to ordinary share dividend income.

Why might FiscalFox need another Fineco statement?

The dossier may omit purchases before its start date, closed-position settlement cash, financing charges, accrued bond interest or tax deductions. FiscalFox asks for missing records in the affected tax year rather than asking you to explain public contract sizes or number formats.
